Bovis Homes Midlands Specify Forticrete for Awe-Inspiring Apartment Complex

Forticrete's decorative Anstone« Stone Walling and its high quality Cast Stone detailing have been specified by Bovis Homes Northern region for the construction of Marmaville Manor, a multi-million pound residential apartment complex in Mirfield, West Yorkshire.

Situated off Church Lane, along the main route between Huddersfield, Dewsbury and Wakefield, Marmaville Manor, the apartment complex comprises a combination of 60 stylish two and three bedroom apartments.

Built in 1880, the former private club was demolished in 2006. Its external fašade however was retained, a strict requirement of the local planning authority. To complement the existing fašade, the apartment complex is built in Forticrete's popular Anstone« Stone Walling in Premier Regency Buff which emulates the appeal of the Yorkshire Sandstones. This saw walling stones with a 140mm course height built in three different lengths specified alongside 135░ Quoins at the complex's corners. Cast Stone items including window surrounds, roof copings, plinths, keystones, chamfered quoins and arched surrounds were also specified to further enhance the quality, character and aesthetic appeal of the luxury apartments.
